After two decades working with India's most respected business owners and their teams, we've witnessed a stealthy erosion of vitality and prosperity repeating itself across industries and the world. On paper, these companies appear to be thriving, meeting quarterly and yearly targets with everything seemingly holding up. However, beneath the surface, the foundations of Truth, Vitality and Prosperity are being hollowed out.
We call this condition Bleeding InsolvencyTM - the slow, often silent erosion of an organization's life-force from within. This self-induced cognitive state develops unconsciously through accumulated choices and decisions over time, creating a schism between the Living elements of an organization and its Machine dimensions.
The Living elements - mindset, purpose, trust, and culture - provide contextual reference for effectiveness. The Machine logic focuses on efficiency and rushing to outcomes. When these dimensions divorce from each other, they calcify into a Great Invisible WallTM of social silences that systematically undermines organizational vitality.
This isn't a market, competitive, or technological crisis, but an internal erosion reinforced through popular culture, management literature, and conventional wisdom. It's widely prevalent and currently playing out in many of the world's most successful companies.
What was once a life-enhancing enterprise for human flourishing has become a meaningless extraction machine gone rogue. The Golden Goose—the living, sacred source of continuous prosperity—has been dismantled to monetize its parts. These self-inflicted wounds cannot be justified as creative destruction; they must be recognized as self-destruction.
At the LivingMachine Institute, we’ve spent years studying and preparing a practical response to this phenomenon. Our research reveals a staggering truth: 70% of enterprise value which compounds over time arises from the Health of the Living elements. The organizational golden goose lays golden eggs through what we call the 70% Zone of Wealth CreationTM. This zone remains untested, unmanaged with no oversight from the board or any line or staff function of a firm.
To provide a rigour and discipline in managing this zone, we developed a new lens through which to view institutional health - The LivingMachine TrinityTM; 1)The Health of the Living, 2) The Great Invisible Wall and 3)The 70% Zone of Wealth Creation (Perpetuity Value). Only through deep self-reflection of this Trinity can owners and leaders master the 70% Zone and cultivate greater productive longevity.
For those intent on driving multigenerational wealth, mastery of this zone is next management. It is the highest duty of owners and leaders and is essential for nation building, because long-living organizations form the backbone of national prosperity.
As the world's leading experts on supporting owners to master the 70% Zone of Wealth Creation, we invite you to join us on this journey into the source of prosperity through compounding value creation—for both your company and society at large.
